Barack "Che" Obama? Why Not...
A video from a Fox network affiliate in Houston illustrates what serious trouble this country is in. At a new Houston office for the Obama campaign there is a large flag hanging on the office wall, right behind a desk and next to a picture of Obama. It is not the American flag. It is the flag of Cuba with the famous portrait of Stalinist killer Ernesto Guevara on it. Will this give pause for Obama idolators to consider whom and what they are supporting? Of course not.
Is Obama a Stalinist? No, of course not. The problem is that his socialist platitudes are vacuous and can mean almost anything to anyone, including brain-dead "Che" worshipers. Obama has no political philosophy, and therefore no ideas. An empty suit can be filled with most anything. The question is: who will be handling the shovel?

Your article could not have been more timely. It disturbing to see political operatives use a symbol of oppression and totalitarianism. It makes you wonder if the Obama campaign is advocating a single party state.
This article from the American Thinker suggests it might not be such a far stretch of the imagination.
It is quite tempting to assume that Barack Obama simply is harvesting the inevitable fruits of 35 years of dumbed-down, political indoctrination in the guise of education in this country.

Aloha Kini, thanks for the kind words posted on your blog "Our Life in Hawaii." I am having trouble commenting on it, but I visit often.
That someone so empty of ideas, so nakedly looking for people to rule and for people to rule him, can attract so much "support" shows me how far down the road to serfdom America is. Hilary is naked in her power lust, but she is a half step above B.O. becasue she offers SOME rationale of how she will GIVE people all that she offers (she will tax the wealthy). Obama doesn't even bother with such explanations. If you want something, if you need something he'll get it for you. Period.
As Rand says, take what he says straight, don't make excuses for it or try to understand it. He must mean he'll intend every American to be in hock to, and responsible for, every other American. If an American has something, he or she can expect to have it taken away and distributed to someone else.
